Thank you for tuning in to my balloon blog. Glad having you guys here. I'd like to make this blog as a vessel for me and my customer and other people in the world who love balloon to stay connected.

Let me introduce myself to you, as there is Indonesian proverb says, "not knowing, means not loving" :

My Full name is Daniel Yen, people know me by Danny in balloon world (you can call me Danny if you knew me from this blog), and I have been in balloon field for 7 years, and had a chance to know a lot of great people in entertainment field and balloon world.

My balloon journey begin in 2005, when I was a college student in Malaysia. I started as a clown, my show include, balloon twisting, street magic and juggling. I performed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at Restaurant, Exhibition, Party and Theme park. My most often place to work was at Genting Highland Resort(where the Casino is). At the third year, my mom out of sudden told me to stop being a clown for no reason, and as a good son of hers, i listen to her and i give up the clown(sort of) but still cant get enough of balloon twisting. I still twist balloon since then and improve my balloon skill year to year.

At 2008, i went back to my hometown, Indonesia and tried to introduce balloon twisting even deeper to the market. People in my hometown only picture balloon animal that happen in Pizza Hut Restaurant(apparently, there was a trend in that restaurant that we they trained one or two of the waitress or the waiting waitress, to make simple balloon animal). I look for couple of Event organizer and told them about the skill i had and asked if they had work for me.

Cut the story short, i had a chance to twist balloon in 2 biggest shopping center in my hometown city and i had a lot of positive feedback and some other request to perform in other place. But before I had a bigger opportunity to expand my balloon business, I still had to priorities the most important thing in my life and my family pride, education. So a fun 1 year break in my hometown before i further my studies.

I arrived Australia in 2009 to continue my Degree, and first thing in my mind when come to earning money, was to do something related to balloon. Cut the story again, I end up work as a retail assistant in a balloon shop.

Three months after working in the shop, i discover that i worked with a great man in the Balloon World. He is a well known man back in His days Internationally and had been training balloon classes in several country across the world. His name is Jean Michel Lucie, He is the inventor of Link-O-Loon Balloon and held a Guiness World Record at late 1990's as a maker of the biggest balloon sculpture in the world in Singapore for a well know company Walls ice cream. And I am still working with him up until now(it has been 2 years).

And then i got to know some great entertainer, balloon artist, and party organizer as my agent, and that was where i started to pick up and get introduced to the market in Melbourne, Australia by them.
